I feel anxious when I walk out to the road to check the mailbox and there is no mail there.

I enjoy certain milestones in my life, markers of growth and healing for me are; “Oh wow! I used the ATM without rapid heart palpitations or sweating. I’ve grown.” I have so much more growing to do, at 61, I had to take a break from my ADHD daughter who dismisses my boundaries saying that I’m “making ‘it’ about me!” My mind is quieter now. I don’t feel guilty or sad, even though her BD is in 3 days.

It has taken a lot of practice to try and “appear” normal when out in the world. If I had my way, I would be an invisible pigeon.

    I’m a music lover. Don’t sing.
